‘The Walk,’ by Hanson, is one of those songs that I refuse to listen to while using any mode of transportation: driving, flying, …training? Why? It’s one of those songs that would be playing in a movie montage while one person would be dying in a horrible accident, and that persons friend(s) or family would be off doing something happy or important, completely juxtaposed, all in slow motion, against the horrible death going on unbeknown to them. The non-dying characters would have said dying person in mind, either sad that they’re late/missing the awesomeness, or mad/pissed that they broke some sort of promise to be there.
But, I love the song. Just not in a car, on a plane, in a bus, or on a train …I’m starting to feel like Dr. Seuss. Anyway, enjoy from the safety of wherever your computer is located.
