2009; a review.
Let’s review 2009, shall we? (I’m using all of my facebook status’ to remember what happened, sad, no?)
January- I…
found out that one of my good friends passed away, I never got to say goodbye.
got my first part time job!
stood in negative degree weather in a dress. Fun.
had a lot of weird experiences with public transportation
February- I…
took my first cab, and it was gross, apparently.
missed my jeep.
was completely fed up with snow.
looked for/got an apartment.
March- I…
took my first, and last, trip to ikea via CTA.
discovered my hatred for Swedish bookshelves, crazy spitting bums, fedex, UPS, and banks.
discovered my love for Thai food, PeaPod grocery delivery, sunshine, and dishwashers.
April- I…
had my faith restored in Rent.
stopped watching DVDs on my computer and finally got a TV.
discovered The History Boys.
contemplated committing a felony.
committed a felony.
May- I…
discovered Chicago’s love for The History Boys.
Whirleyballed!
realized I lived in the ghetto.
worked… a lot.
June- I…
hated my awesome new apartment.
got trapped on a bus with a crazy guy.
watched my best friend walk down the aisle.
found out MJ died, and truly realized the amazing power that was Twitter.
July- I…
bought my bike!
booked a lot on my calendar.
was bored… and hot.
August- I…
had way too much to do.
dodged bullets.
hid in my bathtub.
visited Texas (and Christan!).
September- I…
became a Glee’k.
discovered my beer pong talent.
was still amazed by the powers of The History Boys.
was part of an actual conga line.
moved, again!
became a Bears fan.
October- I…
breathed a sigh of relief as they announced “Chicago has been eliminated…”
said goodbye to The History Boys.
experienced my first Jeff Awards ceremony.
was proud.
realized I had an office addiction.
November- I…
was a little Alabama homesick.
realized I could write a best seller comedic novel on my dating experiences of the past 3 months.
rekindled my love affair with Starbucks.
had a lot, a lot of fun.
got sick… but I never get sick?!
had an MLIA posted about me. Best. Year. Ever.
December- I…
got picky.
had lots of fun… and free ice cream cake.
fell in love with Tina Fey.
spent time with old friends and awesome family.
said goodbye to 2009.
Thanks, 2009, you didn’t suck as much as I thought you would!
